Fall Festive Arrangements

Fall is the best time of year! Flower options for planters and arrangements are bold, vibrant and ORANGE. Pumpkins are ORANGE. I love orange as an accent color, but prefer more subtle colors for my fall arrangements. Today pumpkins come in an array of hues from soft coral to dark green which gives us so many options to use when decorating. Even better, now there is ornamental kale or cabbage to add to the mix. Below read on to see some great options in flowers, plants and gourds to decorate with this Fall.

Warm and colorful using plants that can be replanted, kale and mums making this an explosive arrangement for the front door. Two would be even better

If orange and purple aren't your thing, try this all-green design. Here, a 30-inch low bowl is filled with flowering crane kale (a long-stemmed variety) and 'Icicles' licorice plant in the center. Clusters of white mums, white calibrachoas, 'Ice Dance' sedges, variegated English ivy and 'Gold Zebra' coral bells repeat four times around the circumference

The white and green combination is my personal favorite as I love the subtle hues and simplicity of the kale and white pumpkins. Adding a touch of lavender with the mums makes this so special.

For those who are trying to keep it low-key, this is timeless. Add dark pumpkins in the dark green hue and it’s perfect for that subtle touch.

Fill a rustic window box with a bounty of pumpkins, ivy, artichokes, and ornamental cabbage for an infusion of eye-catching outdoor decor. It's beautiful and seasonal, but utterly unexpected. Choose plants that will withstand the autumn temps in your area and make for eye-catching outdoor fall decor.

Pumpkins look great in clusters, but have you ever thought of going vertical? If you're looking to make a statement, use height for a dramatic effect. Stack pumpkins from largest to smallest, sandwiching greenery between each layer. Pumpkin topiaries atop a stone vessel make for eye-catching outdoor fall decor.

This coral color pumpkin is so unique and fun to work with. Here are two versions of light and lighter decorative ideas.
