Texture adds interest and depth to any space. I’ve mentioned this before when talking about furniture fabrics, rugs, pillows, and other design details. While creating my dream Tahoe home on Pinterest, I realized I can’t afford every beautiful piece I’d love to include to make the space feel warm, inviting, and special. Along the way, I discovered wallpapers and tiles that mimic stone, metal, wood, and other creative textures—allowing you to make a “wow” statement at a fraction of the cost. Used sparingly in smaller, unexpected areas, these materials can feel more realistic and bring a room to life. Below are a few examples of of great applications.
